I hope that everyone had an absolutely wonderful 4th of July weekend!! It was my first weekend since April to not be shooting a wedding!! I love love my job and really enjoy every wedding that I shoot; but I have to admit it was really nice to be able to sleep in on Saturday and not have to go ANYWHERE! My dad and his wife joined us for the weekend; we spent our time relaxing around the house and grilling yummy food and eating way to much. And of course we hit the fireworks show downtown on Sunday, did not take our cameras though, this weekend was about fun!! However, Alton did grab some video!! He made a short film of my kids playing with sparklers! That man, I swear, he never ceases to amaze me, this video is AWESOME!!! So fun!
